Ian got his start in music working on the label side for the President of Giant Records. Ultimately, the desire to make records drew him to NYC and into the recording studio for an amazing run at the legendary Hit Factory. As a sound engineer, he worked with an array of acclaimed artists from the Wu Tang Clan to Pavarotti, Beyonce to Elton John. After returning home to LA, Ian teamed up with J and the composer team went on to work with major label artists, score studio feature films and prime-time network television series, and compose original music for the world's leading brands. This was the foundation for what would later become The Elements Music.

Ian embodies a "leave no stone unturned" ethos and is willing to go to the ends of the earth to create or find that perfect piece of music for a project. He’s truly a master at crystalizing creative direction and guiding our artists in creating truly inspired work.
